About
My university experience began in 1985 and has developed in various universities in the USA (UCLA, Yale, Saint Louis University) and Spain (Universidad Europea, Universidad SEK, IE University). My teaching concentrates on English and Spanish and Folkloristics, and my investigation deals with the transmission and recreation in ancient and medieval folk narratives, folk and popular aspects of culture, and the historical development of Folkloristics, its concepts and schools. I direct IE University's Language Center, where we promote new approaches to language teaching and learning.
