About
A proven business developer and corporate entrepreneur with extensive international experience, David Standen’s career has been characterized by communication, collaboration and cultural integration. Renowned for his interpersonal skills, David uses his international contact network and entrepreneurial vision to bring together key players to launch new initiatives and create new value in existing endeavors. A former stage actor of many years, David is also known for his unique speaking style and his seminars on strategic planning, business planning, SME development and creating value in an uncertain business milieu.
David’s current area of interest lies in the topic of fostering innovation and organic growth in organizations. Whether a company is looking to redefine their core business (Zook, 2007) or develop New Growth Platforms (Laurie, Doz & Sheer, 2006) the fact remains that now and in the future, both firms and managers will need to better develop their ability to innovate while continuing to achieve short and medium-term performance goals and objectives.
